Welcome to Angela Carter Week

ACW badge 2-2

Today marks the beginning of Angela Carter Week.  We have over twenty people who would like to participate. I saw quite a few intro posts, links and announcements. Thanks everyone for that. I’m really thrilled to see so much enthusiasm.

Delia has made a list of the participants and I’ve added everyone to my bloglovin account – still, it’s possible we might not see every contribution, therefore we’d be glad if you could use the Linky below.

It’s not as sophisticated as a blogspot Linky but it does work. You just have to click on the widget to see all the entries.

I’ll be visiting and posting all through the week. Next Sunday we’ll wrap up and hopefully we’ll be able to share a list with all the links.

I wish all the participants a great Angela Carter Week!

  1. So so glad you’re hosting this. I finished Bluebeard, and am halfway through Nights At The Circus. What weird and wonderful stuff! I’ll post a review on Circus as soon as I finish.

  2. I love Angela Carter, so even though I probably won’t have time to read with you, I’ll look forward to reading everyone else’s posts! Hope you have a great week.

  3. I’m glad the event has started, but I’m a little disappointed that I can’t comment on blogs that don’t have Name/URL commenting enabled. Because I have a self-hosted blog, I lack the login credentials required by some blogs. This is an ongoing problem for me and, sadly, it prevents me from interacting with quite a few book bloggers.

I’m still reading all the Angela Carter posts though. :)

    • It’s off to a great start. :)
Yes, that commenting system is a huge problem. For me as well, btw. It doesn’t always work, I need to remeber to be logged in etc. I think Name/URL also enables anonymous which seems a problem for some.

  4. I’ll be following your reviews with interest. I don’t know if I’ll have a chance to read one of Angela Carter’s books myself this week, but I’m looking forward to your posts.

  5. I’m really looking forward to getting stuck into Nights at the Circus – think I’ll start it tonight. I’m also really looking forward to reading everyone’s posts. Thanks again for hosting, it’s going to be a good week.
